National Disability Insurance Scheme

The Federal Department of Social Services (DSS) is responsible for the roll out and delivery of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), the government’s reform package of disability services across the country.

The second phase of the NDIS commences on July 1 2014, making the NDIS available to more people living in new roll out regions.

Cox Inall Ridgeway is supporting the NDIS through the delivery of a specialised communications campaign tailored and delivered to Indigenous audiences. The campaign is targeted at Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living with a permanent and significant disability, their families and carers.

The campaign includes delivery of print and radio executions, video and written case studies, production of media material and information resources. In addition, we have developed specialised resources aimed at those living in remote areas who may have lower literacy levels.

Dpt. Social ServicesResources will be delivered to Indigenous community organisations to support them in providing the right information to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people requiring more information on the scheme.
