Independent Indigenous Facilitator Project : Marvel Stadium Upgrade.

In 2018, The State of Victoria and Australian Football League (AFL) committed to provide $225 million for the Marvel Stadium Upgrade project in Docklands, Victoria.

The AFL engaged Cox Inall Ridgeway to oversee the collaborative and meaningful engagement process with the Dockland’s Traditional Owner Groups, to enable cultural contribution and participation, and to inform key design outcomes for the Marvel Stadium Upgrade.

Cox Inall Ridgeway is supporting the AFL by facilitating the successful negotiation of the key design outcomes between the Dockland’s Traditional Owners, the Boon Wurrung and Woiwurrung (Wurundjeri) peoples, of the Kulin Nation Groups and the AFL, ensuring that the engagement process is fair, equitable, timely and based on trust and respect. Cox Inall Ridgeway aims to provide the AFL with Indigenous designs, stories and ideas that can be incorporated into the Marvel Stadium Upgrade Project in 2020.
